The  Cinema Times, Kathmandu-  Upcoming “Maaleekaa”about women violence starring Rekha Thapa and Kamala Oli organized a charity show at capital on Wednesday. to raise awareness against child marriage that has affected millions.

The charity show, organized by the Jonta Club, was attended by the starcasts of the cinema along with  social activists, women rights activists and journalists.

President of Jonta club, Meera Jyoti  and many others gave an excellence feedback to the cinema and also urged people around the nation to watch it.  Everyone congratulated the actress cum director Thapa after watching the cinema for raising such a major issues of violence.

Actresses Reecha Sharma and Karishma Manandhar who also attended the charity show couldn’t stop themselves from praising the cinema and the story that has been raised in it.

The cinema has been written and directed by actress Rekha Thapa herself and Nara Karki and is slated to release in 2nd of November.
