The cinema sheds light on how voiceless women are harassed with baseless superstitious accusations. The premiere was graced by cine workers and journalists. The story and the presentation were praised.
Actor Swastima Khadka loved the story and performances of the actors. She said the cinema gave a reality check on the state of awareness in our society. Cinemaker Ashok Sharma applauded the story and requested the audiences to watch the cinema as it is necessary to realize the horrific consequences of the deep rooted superstition.
Similarly, actor Benisha Hamal thanked Keki Adhikari for presenting the bitter truth of our society in such a realistic way. Cinemaker Deepa Shree Niraula also appreciated ‘Boksiko Ghar’ as a must watch cinema.
Singer Prakash Saput, who composed ‘Bujhina Maile’ expressed his gratitude to Keki Adhikari for giving him the opportunity to create the song as per the theme of the cinema. He is also grateful to the audiences for showering such love to the song. He admired the cinema’s story and presentation.
Actor Rima Bishwakarma acknowledged Keki’s performance and congratulated her for having the guts to present such a story. She also lauded child actor Supala Sapkota’s work.
Actor Keki Adhikari has taken the much needed step to bring our authentic story to the silver screen with ‘Boksiko Ghar’. She is hopeful that the audiences will appreciate the cinema. She further adds the cinema presents the true events that are still happening to women and girls.
Presented by Keki Adhikari Films, ‘Boksiko Ghar’ is produced by Badri Adhikari. Keki Adhikari, Shupala Sapkota, Swechchha Raut, Rama Thapaliya, Sushma Niraula, Jiwan Baral, Sabin Bastola are in pivotal roles. The other crews include Monish Niraula and Baja Band in music, Shivaram Shrestha as DOP, Kumar Maharjan in action, Sulakshyan Bharati and Lokesh Bajracharya as editor.
Directed by Sulakshyan Bharati, ‘Boksiko Ghar’ hits the theatre on Baisakh 14.
