The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – In around January (Magh), Celebrity Nepal is organizing a three day Nepal Rural Film Festival. The festival is organized with the aim of promoting Nepali cinema in rural areas. The location for the festival is yet to be announced.

‘The organic and local short films, documentaries and features films will be showcased to the audiences of rural areas and the best ones will also be awarded’, said the chairman of the festival Raghunath Sapkota.

He further added that cinemas which has been shot through mobile phones will also be shown. In addition, interactions and workshops will also be organized on what kind of movies will be made keeping in mind the rural environment and what kind of movies will receive the audience support.
