The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Actress Rekha Thapa has completed the shooting of ‘Malika’ within 29 days. Director/actress of the cinema, Rekha Thapa reported that the shooting completed before the scheduled time because of team activeness and favorable season.

She added that the team is returning back to Kathmandu on Monday completing shooting. Cinema shoot took place in Kathmandu, Banepa, Banke and Jajarkot. This is the first time, any Nepali cinema filming happened in Jajarkot. Released pictures of the cinema represents the culture, traditions and norms of Jajarkot.

‘Malika’ is a fictional drama against women violence and campaign to build child marriage relieved Nepal. Jajarkot local girl Kamala Oli is also a lead character in cinema alongside Rekha. Cinema adapted with the vision of Jiwan Rupantaran Bishwo trainer Nar Bahadur Karki, has announced release date for Laxmi Puja, Tihar.

It is a production venture of Sarawoti Thapa and Tara Thapa, with script of Shivam Adhikari. Ramsharan Upreti is a cinematographer. Choreography in cinema is carried by Ramji Lamichhane and action is of Shree Shrestha. Music is obtained from Suresh Adhikari.
