The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Fresh from his newly released and commercially hit Nai Nabhannu La 5, Samipya Raj Timalsina is happy with his next venture ‘Gopi’.

As a screenplay writer, a cinema critic, Timalsina has proved his versatility time and again in a career that spans almost years. Some of his best works include Dreams,November Rain and A Mero Hajur 2, to which he lent his writing skills and Nai Nabhannu La 5 which was his last release.

Starring Bipin Karki, Barsha Raut and Surakshya Panta in the lead, ­ Gopi is a story inspired by a livestock who aims to do lot in his own land.

According to the writer Timalsina, he was obsessed with Gopi’s character for a long time and wanted to write a cinema on him for long. “With every idea there comes a time when it just boils over. I think about my kind of cinema for a long time, and I write them” said Timalsina .

He further added that Gopi is not only about a man who loves his profession or a kind of love between a man and an animal but also raises the feeling of patriotism. He says he’s hopeful with Gopi, a kind of cinema he was willing to write.

Gopi, directed by Dipendra Lama is slated to release in 1st of February 2019.
