The Cinema Times,Kathmandu- The makers today are heading to an all new revolution in the promotional strategies for their cinemas. Actors are now devising new ways of promoting their cinemas other than simple press conferences and public appearances. 

Similarly, Appa starring Dayahang Rai which is all set to release in 28th of June has announced a new way to promote their upcoming cinema.

They announced a nationwide ‘Appa story challenge’. The makers are giving fans a chance to win Rs 50 thousands for challenge. As part of the challenge, the participant of the challenge must post picture/video of their respective father (Appa) along a message for him and tag the post in the ‘Nepali movie Appa”s Facebook/Instagram official page

This not only made the moviegoers curious but also gave them a chance to win some quick money.

Appa, Dayahang Rai’s first collaboration with debut director Anmol Gurung also stars newcomer Siddharth Tamang and Allona Kabo Lepcha where Dayahang will be seen portraying the character of a father. The other interesting thing about the cinema is it also features Aruna Karki and veteran director/actor Tulsi Ghimiray in the pivotal role.

“Aappa” has been penned by director Gurung himself and produced by Ruden Sada Lepcha.
