The Cinema Times, Kathmandu –  Due to the ongoing pandemic, the cinema halls in Nepal were shut down for a very long time. The cinema industry saw a huge loss due to the same.

Even though almost all the sectors were opened, cinema halls still did not have the permission to operate. But the recent meeting between the CDOS in the valley, the cinema halls will be opened following all the Covid-19 precautions.

Following the same, outgoing president of the film association and producer Pradip Kumar Udaya has expressed his happiness in this decision of the government.

No matter what, the cinema industry are one of the most hit sectors in this pandemic. And opening of cinema halls in Nepal has surely given some relief to the ones involved.
