The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- ‘Bahaab’ portrays the revolution of a girl inside her family and the ups and downs that come after. The trailer of the cinema is centered at Surakshya Panta. Her rebellious acts against her own family and the situation that arises is shown in the trailer.
The trailer creates curiosity on what the rebel is about and what happens next. ‘Bahaab’ is a story about curiosity, conception and reality. Written and directed by Pramod Kandel, the cinema displays search for new things and rebel against current circumstances.
Actor Panta says, ‘Bahaab’ is a very relatable cinema and it is her pleasure to work on it. The cinema presents the story faced by all Nepalese. Inspired by true events, the cinema reveals every household’s obstacles- says director Kandel.
‘Bahaab’ is produced by Shreedhar Poudel. He found the plot interesting and different thus decided to invest in ‘Bahaab’. He had earlier produced ‘Gopi’. The freedom imprisoned within and the guidance to a free soul is the cinema’s story, says producer Poudel.
Surakshya Panta, Kamal Mani Nepal, Afran Ali, Surya Sharma Bhatta, Ishwori Singh, Hiralal Kandel, Pawan Shrestha are featured in the cinema. Produced under the banner of Swornim Entertainment and Young Star Cinema, ‘Bahaab’ will be released in theatres on Chaitra 24.
