‘Mansarra’ Poem Concert, Commendable Promotional Mode

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Director Upendra Subba is a profound poet himself. Thus a poem concert for the promotion of his upcoming cinema ‘Mansarra’ was justified. This is a poet’s cinema thus the fluency in story, smoothness in dialog and the perfect rhythm in the performances are expected. ‘Mansarra’ indeed has the poetic charm in it, the coherence of each character is highly maintained.

‘Mansarra’ team decided on a different promotional tour with poem concert that started from Butwal, Western Nepal and ended in Itahari, Eastern Nepal. This promotional act ended successfully making the audiences excited about the cinema. Producer Shailendra D. Karki said that the team found the audiences eagerly waiting for the cinema’s release.

In all programs of the poem concert, director Subba recited his poems. Through his creations, he requested the literature enthusiasts to watch the cinema. Similarly, actors Miruna Magar, Praveen Khatiwada and Menuka Pradhan also informed about their cinema and promoted ‘Mansarra’ in the mass.

Written by the director himself, ‘Mansarra’ is produced by cinematographer Shailendra Dhoj Karki. The cinema is co-produced by Parsu Adhikari, Bishnu Kumar Thebe and Jiban Limbu Thaklung. Other crews of the cinema include Nimesh Shrestha as Editor, Manhang Lawati, Manik Shankar, Shayok Mukarung and Shubham Chamling Rai as Art Director. The executive producer of the cinema is Sijan Dahal and Kiran Rai is the chief assistant director. Apple Entertainment has the distribution rights and G21 Digital is the digital partner.

This hit director-actor trios, Upendra Subba, Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar are coming up with ‘Mansarra’ after ‘Jaari’. It is obvious, the audiences have certain expectations from this cinema and are already waiting for it. By the look of the trailer, it is confirmed that actors Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar are once again set to enchant the silver screen. Director Upendra Subba is all up for another genuine story and the poetic combination is intriguing.

‘Mansarra’ will hit the cinemas on Baisakh 21.
