Synopsis: A budding director is given a task to come up with a gripping and violent gangster story. She decides to research on a menacing one-eyed, ruthless Bachchhan Paandey. Her discreet, secret attempts to research fail and she gets caught for snooping. What happens next takes the audiences on a fun-filled roller coaster ride!

Akshay Kumar’s new thriller comedy ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ has everyone at the edge of their seats. Directed by Farhad Samji, it is slated to hit the screens on March 18, on the occasion of Holi.

Akshay plays the titular character in the thriller comedy and his looks look interesting and frightening. He had played a character named Bachchan Pandey in Tashan. He really liked playing the character, thus he with Producer Sajid Nadiadwala thought of naming the film from that character.

The highly anticipated cinema is garnering a lot of attention and fans are really thrilled to watch Akshay don a negative character. Even he is excited! The actor revealed in an event, the reason that drove him to sign the film was the essence of the character. He recalled how he hasn’t played any negative roles for a long time. He finds it fun portraying negative characters, dominating the hero as the hero gets to overpower the villain only at the climax.

For ‘Bachchhan Paandey’, Akshay has charged a bomb. The actor has apparently charged a whopping 99 crores for the cinema, which is a ‘discounted one’. Anyhoo, it’s Khiladi Kumar and the money is really worth it.

‘Bachchhan Paandey’ also stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles.
