The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- The nominations of ‘2nd Annual Surya International Award’, has been announced in a special event yesterday at APF headquarters, Kathmandu.

Filmmakers nominated under various categories were presented with certificates while, the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ will be presented to legendary actor Nir Shah for his contribution to the cinema fraternity since decades.

While cinema which performed very well at the box office and were critically acclaimed including ‘Prasad’, Chakka Panja’ ,‘A Mere Hajar 3 will be competing for the ‘Best Film’ at the award.

Similarly, actors including Bipin Karki , Anmol KC and Pradeep Khadka from Prasad, Captain and Love Station respectively will be competing for ‘Best Actor’. On the actress side, Namrata Shrestha from Prasad, Samragyee RL Shah from Kaira and Pooja Sharma from Ram Kahani have been nominated for the ‘Best Actress’ category.

The 2nd Annual Surya International Award is being held in Tokyo, Japan on 7th of November.
