The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Recently, Shahrukh Khan, the king of Bollywood appeared in a talk Show called BBC Hard talk. He shared his thoughts, norms and experiences regarding Gender Equality & India’s Cultural Diversity in the talk show. He spoke out that “When he is making films or working in films, they’re very clear about the attitude to women. Even the smallest aspects of the names coming first in title, which is not going to do anything, but the kind of respectability”.

He stated even teeny-tiny aspects is important to bring the equality and added – “See, what we’ve reduced ourselves to. Simply, to put a girl’s name in front just to show what little guys we are, thinking of them as equals. And that is sad and that is strangely dichotomous when you’re talking about creativity, and you have boys and girls working together.” SRK claiming he never have personally misbehaved any women, ended his statement saying, “I can say, nobody dares to misbehave with a woman on my set, I am very clear on that”.
