The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- At the SAARC FILM FESTIVAL which was held in Srilanka this last week, Swastima Khadka has bagged the Best performer of the year award for ‘BulBul’.

The actress, who played a tempo driver in the cinema, shot to fame with director Binod Poudel for which she won an international award for her country.

The actress as soon as she received the prestigious award on Sunday, took to social media to share her happiness with the entire fraternity and her fans and well wishers. Swastima dedicating the award to the team of BulBul posed for a picture with all smiles in her face.

Written and directed by Binod Poudel, Bulbul is a story of a tempo driver named Ranakala, played by Swastima Khadka who gets into lots of trouble after falling in love to Chopendra played by Mukun Bhusal.
