The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Actor Reecha Sharma has won big in Titan International Film Festival. She has received the Best Actor Female Award for her performance in short cinema ‘Blood Money’. She was nominated along with Israel, America and India where she stood out to be the best.

Titan International Film Festival is a competition of cinemas from around the world. The festival takes place 4 times a year. All 4 edition winners are selected for the annual award.

‘Blood Money’ is about a man forced to go abroad due to poor economic circumstances. The cinema features Reecha Sharma, Ashok Timalsina, Mithila Sharma in pivotal roles. Actor Sharma portrays the role of a wife in the short cinema.

More than a hundred countries’ cinema had participated in the festival. Actor John Vamvas from Canada won the Best Actor Male award for his performance in Scarpedicemente and Long Flat Balls “Broken Promises” from Norway- directed by Harold Johan Zwart won the Best Feature Film award.

The director and writer of ‘Blood Money’ Ashok Timalsina was also felicitated in the Titan International Film Festival. The cinema was highly appreciated in the festival and also many cinema makers were willing to come to Nepal to shoot.

The cinema had also won Best Cinema Award in White Pearls International Film Festival and Athvivaruni International Film Festival.
