The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor starrer historical cinema ‘Padmaavat’ has succeeded 50-days run at the box office and has become the 7th cinema to cross the coveted mark of Rs 300 crore club.

‘PK’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Baahubali’ (Hindi Version), and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ are first 6 cinemas to swim Rs 300 crore club at the box office, aside ‘Padmaavat’.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial ‘Padmaavat’ was entangled to various controversies before screen release. Making few modifications on cinema finally got approved for release, but still buzzed the ban in 4 states. Nevertheless, ‘Padmaavat’ battling all the complications and obstructions conquered the historic earning at the box office.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported the 50 days box office collection of the cinema.
