The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Namrata Shrestha, Bipin Karki and Nischal Basnet starrer family drama ‘Prasad’ is creating  buzz in the tinsel town after the songs and trailer is released on web. After receiving lots of appreciation, the team of ‘Prasad’ seemed excited for the cinema which is slated to release in 7th of December.

Interacting with the media in a press meet, one of the lead actor Nischal Basnet opened up about his grey character in the cinema who creates lots of difficulties in a life of a married couple.

When many lead actors shy away from playing a grey character on silver screen, actor/director Nischal Basnet is confidently trying to pull it off with ‘Prasad’. The actor is careful while choosing a role as he feels that the character should leave an impact, however, small it is.

“I think the most important thing in a character to see that it has a presence. If people get angry after watching my character in the cinema that is almost negative, then I’ll feel quiet a satisfied and feel that I gave justice to the character. I  should not feel wasted or redundant. Even if it is a negative role, the scenes that you have should make an impact, that is important,” said Nischal who will be seen playing Ramesh, a character that tries to create disputes in a relationship of a married couple.

Directed by Dinesh Raut and produced by Shuvash Thapa, the story of the cinema is penned by cinema critic Sushil Poudel.
