‘Michael Adhikari’ in promotions, claims to entertain audiences

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Michael Adhikari’ team is busy with promotional events these days. The cinema which will be released on Bhadra 3 stars Saugat Malla and Shristi Shrestha in lead roles.

Saugat Malla and Shristi Shrestha starrer cinema ‘Michael Adhikari’ is currently preoccupied with promotions, which is set to come out on Bhadra 3. As the release date nears, Saugat Malla, Producer Nirak Poudel and the cinema team reached eastern Nepal’s main cities Birtamod and Biratnagar. In the promotional event, press meet and mini concert were organized on Saturday.

Saugat Malla says ‘Michael Adhikari’ is an entertainment packaged in a different story. The cinema was shot in Jhapa and Illam, thus he believes the audiences in the eastern part will own the cinema. Similarly, Producer Nirak Poudel is confident that the cinema will completely entertain the audiences. He further says the new story on surrogacy can be enjoyed with family.

The cinema is based on the concept of surrogacy. A couple decides to rent the wife’s womb for another couple’s child and what follows is the turmoil the surrogate mother goes through when it comes to handing over the child, her child that she nurtured for nine months.

Directed by Ranjeet Rauniyar ‘Michael Adhikari’ has a different story plot and attempts an unexplored story in Nepali cinema. Udhhab Poudel’s presentation ‘Michael Adhikari’ has Nirak Poudel as producer starring Saugat Malla, Shristi Shrestha, Aashant Sharma, Loonibha Tuladhar, Anny Kunwar, Hemanta Budhathoki, Bidhya Karki, Jemima Toms, Dilip Bohora, Kendra Bhattarai and others. The cinema has Choreography by Kamal Rai, Kabiraj Gahatraj, Music by Shambhujit Baskota, Revan Singh, Lyrics by Shailendra Kandel Kshetri, Dayaram Pandey, Edited by Mitra D. Gurung, Director of Photography Raju Bickram Thapa and Screenplay/Dialogue by Shailesh Kandel Kshetri.

The cinema releases all over Nepal on August 19 (Bhadra 3).
