The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- The shooting of Rekha Film’s 5th presentation ‘Malika’ has started.

Rekha Thapa started their shooting schedule in Baluwatar on Monday morning with worshiping at Pashupati temple. ‘Malika’ will be the direction venture of Rekha herself. According to head asst director Navaraj Acharya, Rekha and Nar Bahadur has wrapped an outdoor shoot on first day of shooting.

He disclosed that the team will further move to outside the valley after 10 days scheduled shoot at Kathmandu. ‘Malika’ shoot will take place in Kohalpur and Jajarkot after Kathmandu. ‘Malika’ also features a 14-years-old girl Kamala Oli from Jajarkot in lead role along with Rekha and Nar Bahadur. Cinema is claimed to be based on change in an individual thoughts with story and concept of Rekha.

‘Malika’ will be under the cinematography of Ramsharan Upreti and music will be helmed by Suresh Adhikari. Rekha is making her comeback as director from ‘Malika’ after ‘Himmatwali’. Her cinema ‘Malika’ will have a Laxmi Puja i.e. Kartik 21 release.
