The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – ‘Maitighar 2’ director Subodh Chopra passed away on Friday after suffering from COVID-19 at the age of 49.

It is reported that Chopra had tested negative on Saturday last week but his condition took a turn for the worse on Monday. His condition deteriorated further on Friday and passed away after.

Actor Anmol KC posted on social media about Chopra’s death and expressed his grief. Chopra was working for his upcoming project under Super Kajol Films banner since last month after the cinema announcement.

Chopra has already worked on Bollywood cinema like ‘Murder’ and ‘Rog’ as dialogue writer. May his soul rest in peace.
