Actor Jassita Gurung has signed a contract for ‘Honey Bunny’, a new Nepali cinema to be directed by Diwakar Bhattarai. Bhattarai met Jassita right after his arrival in London and signed her for the lead role. She had been in talks with the team and joined in after liking the character and story. Initially Anmol KC and Sara Shirpaili were finalized in the leads for ‘Honey Bunny’. The cinema was to be shot in London, but Sara’s visa appeal got rejected by the UK embassy citing reasons of London overstay.
