‘Fulbari’ announced, Kabaddi famed director Rambabu Gurung’s next

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Rambabu Gurung, who is known for making comedy genre cinemas, is now set to direct a social drama. Titled ‘Fulbari’ , this cinema’s story is a social drama. Produced under the banner of Yashoda Films, Fulbari stars Bipin Karki, Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Aruna Karki, Srijana Subba, Somnath Khanal, Priyanka Karki and others.

In an event organized in Kathmandu, ‘Fulbari’ was announced where Director Rambabu Gurung introduced the casts and crews of the cinema. The cinema tells the story of the relationship between father and son. The shoot will commence from Bhadra first week. Kamal Kishor Malpani has written the story. He says to have entered the industry to present good cinemas. “We are focused on presenting a nice family drama to the audiences without being concerned about the investment and outcome.”

Director Rambabu Gurung is assured of the story thus agreed to direct the cinema. It is a family drama and he hopes the audiences will easily connect to the story. He is also satisfied with the actors signed for the cinema. Bipin Karki agreed to play the character older than he really is. He is convinced of the story and said it is the character that should be seen on the screen, not my real self. Dayahang will be seen in an important role, though short, he is also certain audiences will like it.

The cinema will be shot by American cinematographer Josh Harem, music composed by Kali Prasad Baskota and Anupam Sharma. The screenplay is by Upendra Subba. Fulbari is produced by Manish Dhakal with Maniram Pokhrel as Executive producer.

Gurung had earlier directed Purano Dunga in the social drama genre. He is confident of making this project better from the experiences of the previous direction. Rambabu Gurung directed Kabaddi series is one of the most successful and loved cinemas in Nepali cine sector. Kabaddi 4 is the most successful, the most appreciated and the highest earning cinema in Nepali cine history.
