The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Film Journalists association Nepal had accomplished their 19th anniversary. Union regarding Jestha 7 as their birthday, cut their 19th cake witnessing numbers of journalists and celebrities associated with cinema. Likewise, association also distributed honor, prize and encouragement prize to 5 journalists on anniversary.

Communication and Information Technology Minister Gokul Prasad Baskota was chief guest of the event. Senior journalists Dayaram Pandey and Dhurba Lamsal were honor with the Film Journalism Honor, Laxmi Subedi associated with Naya Patrika Dainik and Sandhya Thapa associated with TV Filmy were distributed with Film Journalism Prizes and Anjan Dahal ‘Manish’ associated with Filmy Khabar Dot Com was given Encouragement Prize.

Honored Subedi and Thapa in journalism were given 21 thousand cash prize and Dahal in encouragement award was handed over with 1-ton Laptop and trophy. Similarly, federation also bestowed their congratulation and honor to newly elected working committee of Nepal Journalists Federation Associates Province.

From Film Development Board head Nikita Poudel to many cinemas associated organizations, chiefs and celebrities witnessed the event. Everyone associated with cinema journalism fraternity were congratulated and well wishes in an anniversary event.

Association head Sandip Sapkota remembering the contribution of journalists in cinema development expressed the ever-ready mood to act in good for journalists. Union also celebrated their anniversary by honoring and distributing the prizes to cinema journalists even in out of valley branch.
