The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Karan Johar’s next offering Dostana 2 has been the talk of the town since Kartik Aaryan exited the film. Everyone is waiting to know who will replace him and cast opposite Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalwani.

The production team and Kartik Aaryan had some disagreements which made him walk out of the film. But according to reports Akshay Kumar has been approached for the same which means he might replace Aaryan.

Karan Johar in an interview with Free Press Journal gave some hint on bringing Akshay Kumar in the movie opposite Janhvi and Laksh but also said, “My lips are sealed. We will make an announcement soon.”

Previously Dharma productions had announced the exit of Kartik from the movie saying, “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence – we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”
