The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Actor and writer Khagendra Lamichhane speaking in a ‘Damaruko Dandi Biyo’ Meet & Greet event with journalist at Pokhara said that the cinema he plays and writes are not only for commercial goal.

He writes the story if the subject is profound to him, it doesn’t matter whether it will do good or not. Moreover, he told that ‘Damaruko Dandi Biyo’ is the story of former national game Dandi Biyo alongside of family relation and love.

Another actor Buddhi Tamang from the cinema also said that the cinema will revive the importance of Dandi Biyo game, while young generation is forgetting it. He added that producer Binod Gurung also a tourism businessman has attempted to give the new taste in Nepali cinema through ‘Damaruko Dandi Biyo’.

Cinema presented by Sambridhi Entertainment stars Khagendra Lamichhane, Anup Baral, Menuka Pradhan, Budhhi Tamang, Ankeet Khadka, Aashant Sharma, Laxmi Bardewa, Mishri Thapa, Ingi Hopo Koinch Sunuwar and Namita Ghising. Cinema based on former national game Dandi Biyo ‘Family Sports Drama’ has been directed by Chhetan Gurung.

All set to release on Baisakh 21, the trailer is receiving fabulous respond in YouTube. Cinema teams have started the Mofasal tour with Press Meet event in Pokhara. Team will further move to Butwal, Narayanghat, Hetauda, Damak, Birtamod from Pokhara and will return back to Kathmandu.
