Cine Journalists & Artists Are To Be Honoured At Hetauda

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The Film Journalist Union Makwanpur branch will be giving an honor and awards to journalists and artists like in their previous years on the occasion of its establishment day.

Branch President Maniraj Gautam stated that active Rajdhani Dainik senior journalist Dabbu Chhetri will be handed Rs. 11,111 cash honor by the Branch Work Committee Meeting. Likewise, Ramkumar Alan, a cine journalist working for Janata Television from Makwanpur will be honored with Rs. 5,000. Similarly, Hetauda actress Nita Dhungana and actor Sushant Shrestha will be honor by branch from artists section.

According to Gautam, they are giving an honor and award on their establishment day to encourage local journalists and artists more. Likewise, they have initiated the tradition since last year to honor senior journalist and the person who played important role in federation establishment.

Further, cine journalists from other branches; Dang, Pokhara, Butwal and Chitwan will be invited on establishment day.

Union discussed with committee including Vice President Prakash Dahal, Journalist Federation Makwanpur President Hari Humagain, Journalist Former Bureau Member Pratap Bista and Former President Rammani Dahal for decision of honor and award distribution.
