The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Shivam Adhikari written and directed cinema ‘Panchayat’ accomplished the VIP Red Carpet show. Numerous political leaders were present in the VIP Show at Kumari Hall in K-Town.

Former PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), UML Senior leader and former PM Jhalnath Khanal, CPN Maoists Party’s leader; Barshaman Pun,and Janardhan Sharma, UML Leader Yogesh Bhattarai, Congress Leader Minendra Rijal, Industry Minister Matrika Prasad Yadav, Former Speaker  Onsari Gharti Magar, Maoists leader Narayan Dahal, Congress runner Uma Regmi, Police Officer; Sarbendra Khanal, Ramesh Kharel, and Chhabi Lal Joshi, Cinema Maker; Narendra Maharjan,  Pradip Kumar Udaya, Aakash Adhikari, Sobhit Basnet, and Jaykisan Basnet and number of artists and journalists were participated in the show.

After watching ‘Panchayat’, Prachanda shared that the cinema succeeds to portrait the community culture around the time of 2031. According to him, the artists did quite good and impressive job. However, he adds that he sees a bit of space between the names, subject and character presentation.

Correspondingly, Jhalnath Khanal said that the cinema is real, entertaining and touching. Following, he congratulates for the presentation of absurd and deformation in that brilliant way and holding the shadow of real society.

Likewise, everyone said that the best part of cinema is subject and artists. Lead cast Saroj Khanal and Nita Dhungana shared the feeling of investing hard-work for right cinema after listening the praising from big political leaders.

Rupa Rana, Gita Adhikari, Ganesh Giri, Bishal Pahari, Kiran Thapa, Rajubabu Shrestha and Rabi Adhikari have also done great job in cinema with presentation of Ganesh Giri. Produced Sushant Shrestha and Sankar Subedi and edited by Bipina Malla. Cinema will release on silver screen by Chaitra 2.
