The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The upcoming cinema ‘Kaji’ starring Bipin Karki and Keki Adhikari held its auspicious muhurat today at Dakshinkali temple. Laxman Rijal’s directorial social love drama is set to go on floor from Bhadra 8. After the pooja ceremony of camera and script at the temple, the team headed to Syangja for the shoot.

Director Rijal is making a comeback with this cinema after a hiatus of 8 years. He said that the script aligned perfectly with what he had been looking for. He had earlier directed Kasam, Dhuwaa: Yo Nasha, Alvida and Kaira and produced December Falls and Ganapati.

Produced by Ram Prasad Rijal under the banner of Rijal and Rijal Production, the cinema is written by Pradip Bhardwaj. Cinematographer Chintan Rajbhandari takes charge of the visuals, while the soulful music will be crafted by hit music composer Kali Prasad Baskota.

Bringing life to the story are Nepal’s loved stars. The powerhouse actor Bipin Karki, versatile actor Keki Adhikari and emerging talent Garima Sharma will be seen in pivotal roles. Producer Rijal is dedicated to present a wonderful cinematic experience for the audiences without any compromise, for which the team has built a village set worth lakhs.

With cameras rolling from Bhadra 8, ‘Kaji’ promises to deliver a heartfelt blend of love, drama and storytelling.
