The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Known for making audiences laugh with light-hearted comedy, Kedar Ghimire aka Magne Budha is all set to deliver an even more entertaining experience with ‘Magne Raja’. The released teaser, centred on Ghimire, is packed with humorous dialogues and clearly reflects the promise.
In the cinema, Ghimire appears in a new avatar, evolving from beggar to king in spirit. Wilson Bikram Rai plays his nephew. Kedar and Wilson are popularly known as the iconic duo Magne Budha and Takme Budha on TV. The roughly two minutes long teaser also features Barsha Siwakoti and Shishir Bangdel without revealing much about their roles.
This cinema has already created a buzz showcasing Kedar in a new persona through the poster. The teaser also portrays the Magne-typically poor character in a Richie rich avatar, making the audience laugh their heart out. Notably, this cinema marks Kedar Ghimire’s debut as the lead actor.
Produced under the banner of Aarambha Production, the cinema is presented by Munal Ghimire and produced by Madhusudan Sharma. Directed by Rishi Lamichhane, the cinema features cinematography by Narendra Mainali, screenplay by Samipy Raj Timalsena, background score by Tsujil Karmacharya and editing by Mitra Gurung. Sahil Khan crafted the teaser.
‘Magne Raja’ is scheduled for release both in Nepal and abroad on Bhadra 6 and will be distributed by RR Films.
