Saugat and Benisha’s Captivating Emotional Journey in ‘Cetaamol’ Teaser

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The much-anticipated teaser of ‘Cetaamol’, starring Saugat Malla and Benisha Hamal, has been unveiled. The two minutes long teaser gives an emotional glimpse into the story. Opening with a poignant line where Rolpali’s need for the medicine cetamol is highlighted, the teaser takes viewers to the heartland of rural Nepal.

Directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, the teaser sheds light on the narrative. It depicts the tender and turbulent love story of a couple- from their childhood bond to the complexities after marriage. The emotional highs and lows and raw authenticity of the teaser earned admiration. Malla being mobility-impaired, the unwavering faith in his love and the wait that outweighs his hurdles have evoked sympathy and significant curiosity.

Scheduled to hit the theatres on Shrawan 23, ‘Cetaamol’ stars Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shree Krishna Niroula, Januka Bishwakarma, Karan Nepali, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiunwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, R.R. Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel and Aradhya Rajyalaxmi DC. Shree Krishna and Januka make their silver screen debut in this cinema.

Technical team features cinematography by Divya Raj Subedi, music by Babul Giri, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, editing by Bande Prasad, color grading by Rajendra Moktan, sound design by Mukesh Shah, and action by Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan. The cinema’s posters were designed by Rakesh Dahal, with production management by Bikash Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Rai.

Produced by Tulshi Devi Films in association with Juntara Films, the story is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Sane. Presented by Simosh Sunuwar, the producers are Bhugol Kumar Karki and Bikash Raj Joshi, with Apsara Nepali, Ajay Kumar Malla and Kumar KC serving as executive producers, and Gangaram Shrestha as co-producer.

‘Cetaamol’-metaphorically a cure for the silent pains people have been enduring since insurgency, a socially resonant narrative based on true events, promises a worthy watch!
