The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – While the audiences are still dancing to ‘Pari Tyo Dada Ma’ from ‘Resham Filili’, it is hard to believe that it’s been nine years since the cinema released. To add up some extra filili spice, the sequel ‘Feri Resham Filili’ release date has been announced. The cinema is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, Falgun 14 this year.

The team announced the release date along with a poster featuring the lead actors Vinaya Shrestha and Supushpa Bhatta. Vinaya reprises the same character as that of the first part and is seen praying or thanking God where Supushpa treats him to a coy smile with a rose in her hand. The budding romance is visible.

A presentation of Cinema Art in collaboration with V Motion Pictures, the cinema is produced by Raunak Bikram Kandel. Written and directed by Niroj Maharjan, the cinema stars Vinaya Shrestha, Kameshwor Chaurasiya,  Supushpa Bhatta, Nir Shah, Rabindra Jha, Laxmi Giri, Mahesh Tripathi, Kajal Karn, Shishir Bangdel and Meksam Goudel among others.

The crew comprises Susan Prajapati as DOP, Surendra Poudel as editor with Kali Prasad Baskota, SD Yogi, Hark Saud, Kalyan Singh, Jayan Waiba and Dipak Sharma as Music composers. The cinema is co-produced by Aney Thapa and Suraj Bam Thakuri is the executive producer.

‘Feri Resham Filili’ will be distributed by Gobind Shahi’s Kafiya Films and Kuber Cine Distribution.
