The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Bollywood this year came across with big releases like Sanju, Raazi, Padmaavat and many more which became successful in making a place in our hearts and setting a benchmark in the cinema industry as well.

Meanwhile on the other hand, it seemed like the year was not so great for the 3 Khans of Bollywood.

The big Khans of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan who have all the popularity did not seem to have a fortunate time this year.

We have seen in previous years how Khans have always been successful in making their audience go crazy for their cinemas.

This year, the stars did not enjoy the same stardom for their releases.

Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’

Salman Khan has disappointed his fans with his role in the popular franchise of ‘Race’. His Race 3 won the popularity but in all the negative terms. Salman also came up with his independently written song named Selfish in the cinema which became the medium of laughter and memes for the audience.

Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’

The trailer of the Aamir Khan starrer ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ filled the people with extreme levels of excitement and thrill for the cinema.

However, the cinema left its viewers highly unsatisfied collecting a gross amount of 262.80 crores in total, whereas it was made on a budget of Rs. 250 crores. Thug of Hindostan was the biggest FLOP of the year. 

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’

This year, the pairing of famous trio Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif did not seem to work well and left the viewers disappointed. Overall, the movie could not work as per the makers’ and viewers’ expectations. 

2018 might have been a flop year for our Khans but their fans still believe that they will return in 2019 with a bang.
