The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- Anmol KC has proven once again that his star power is unmatched. His latest cinema ‘Jerry on Top’ is setting theatres ablaze, pulling massive crowds and delivering a thunderous box office performance.

As per the production team, the cinema collected a staggering Rs 1 crore 58 lakhs and 97 thousands in just two days- a feat that firmly places it among the year’s biggest openers.

The first day brought in Rs 72.59 lakhs while the second day surged even higher to 86.38 lakhs. The cinema raked in an additional Rs 46 lakhs overseas, particularly in Australia. This signals Anmol’s widespread appeal beyond Nepal.

With house-full shows across the country and additional screenings being added daily, momentum shows no sign of slowing down. The second-day growth is an encouraging sign, says producer Saroj Neupane, crediting the success to strong word of mouth and Anmol’s loyal fan base. With Tihar holidays, the team expects collections to soar even higher.

Inside theatres, it is more than just numbers, it’s a celebration. Fans are turning screenings into events, cheering as Anmol appears on screen. His long-awaited return after a year and a half has clearly been worth it, as he once again dominates the Nepali box office.

Directed by Suyog Gurung, Jerry on Top also stars Aanchal Sharma, Jassita Gurung, Kedar Ghimire (Magne Budha)  Bhuwan KC and Usha Khadgi with a special appearance by Surakshya Pant.

Backed by Ananya Films and presented by Saroj Nyaupane, the cinema is produced by Robin Sherchan, Bhabishya Khadka,Ananya Neupane and Deepak Bhandari with Anuradha Giri and Ishwor Shrestha as executive producers and Nabin Ghimire and Bibek Thapa as associate producers.

It brings together the storytelling of Hemraj BC, screenplay by Biswas Timilsina, and the stunning visuals of Duleep Regmi. The music team-Kali Prasad Baskota, Jayan J. Waiba, John Chamling Rai and Brijesh Shrestha- adds rhythm and soul to the cinema’s emotional highs.

A love story woven through the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Everest expedition, Jerry on Top balances heart, adventure and nostalgia-  and audiences are clearly loving every minute of it.
