This milestone had her reflecting on a journey filled with shy beginnings, exciting breakthroughs and hard-earned lessons and successes. Trying not to be arrogant with success and disheartened with failures; as she paused and looked back, she felt joy!
Posting a heartfelt emotion on social media, she looked at the 10-years-old actor Swastima. It has been ten years of hustle and bustle in the world of cinema- always shining, standing out, bouncing back and handling both applauses and setbacks. She shares that she usually doesn’t look back as it’s unsettling at times. But, this time she paused, she had reached this 10-year milestone. And, it warmed her heart as she relived those 10 years.
“The lessons I’ve learnt, the people I’ve met and the moments I’ve lived in these 10 years will guide me through the next ten. I was naïve when I entered the cinemas, I’m still learning the ABCs of cinema and this knowledge will guide me through the many decades to come.”
Over the past decade, she has grown as an actor, delving into the world of production, learning the nuances of cinema from scratch and embracing every challenge along the way. She credits her journey to the guidance of her mentors and the love of her fans. Grateful for all the lessons, doubts and rejections, she cherishes the love that shaped her path. She looks forward with renewed passion, hopes to continue experimenting with her craft and keeping her dream alive.
