The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The much-talked-about cinema ‘Jhari Pachhiko Indreni’ directed by Popular TV actor and content creator Arjun Ghimire (Paade) has already begun creating a stir before its official release. In a recent update, the cinema’s Australia distribution rights have been acquired, highlighting its growing demand among audiences abroad.
The rights have been purchased by Ram Karki, a prominent Nepali entrepreneur Based in Australia. Widely recognized within the Nepali diaspora, Karki has built a strong reputation through his ventures in education, migration services, mortgage brokerage firm, accounting company and the hospitality sector. Alongside his successful businesses, he is also admired for his continued love and support for Nepali arts, music, cinema and sports.
Speaking about his acquisition, Karki confirmed that the cinema will premiere in Australia in parallel with its release in Nepal. He believes that the cinema will resonate with the Nepali community in Australia and the cinema will be entertaining and will aso leave a meaningful message.
‘Jhari Pachhiko Indreni’ marks the comeback of actor Ganesh Upreti in the lead role after nine years. The cast includes Nirmal Sharma, Ramesh Upreti and Deepa Shree Niraula. The buzz surrounding the cinema has been amplified by reports that popular rapper and Kathmandu Metropolitan Mayor Balen Shah will make a special appearance with a rap performance. This has elevated the anticipation.
With its storyline and growing global reach, ‘Jhari Pachhiko Indreni’ is seen as a strong step towards connecting with the Nepali diaspora abroad.
