The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The first look poster of ‘Lalibazaar’ is out featuring Swastima Khadka in a bold and striking avatar. Production house Shatkon Arts is back with its fifth solo venture ‘Lalibazaar’ after winning hearts with Jatra, Jatrai Jatra, Mahapurush and Mahajatra. And the cinema is already turning heads with just one poster.

The makers have dropped a captivating first look poster with Swastima draped in a look of a pregnant woman, but with a glam twist that teases both emotional depth and layered storytelling. The bold look styled with arresting grace hints at a powerful role. Set to be directed and written by Yam Thapa, the cinema is produced by Rabindra Singh Baniya and Max Dipesh Khatri, with executive production by Pradip Bhattarai.

Swastima says this is one of her most unique roles yet. The story and the production team is what lured her in. She further adds that this cinema lets her explore a completely new side as an actor. ‘Audiences will witness a very different character portrayal. The poster itself says a lot and I’m thrilled to bring this character to life.’

Scheduled to go on floors right after Dashain, ‘Lalibazaar’ is slated for release on Falgun 1. With the poster already making waves, the cinema might be another blockbuster for Shatkon Arts’ Legacy.
