Set to hit the theatres this Friday, Jestha 23, the much-anticipated cinema ‘Jante Bakhro’ is swinging the promotion ball a little differently. Director Sunuwar believes that this kind of interactive promotion helps audiences feel more connected to the story even before stepping into the theatre. It is not just a promotion gimmick- but about reviving nostalgia. The cinema celebrates the essence of Nepali culture in village life, the traditions that are slowly fading- like wedding guests enjoying feasts in leaf plates (Tapari) while seated on the ground. The cinema captures the traditional practices and offers both entertainment and cultural insights to the younger generation.
