The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Following the historic success of the Nepali and Hindi music fusion song ‘Jhyaain’ Atmoon Entertainment is now preparing another major joint Nepali and Bollywood project with singer and actress Manzayashree Bhatta.

The overwhelming success of ‘Jhyaain’ paved the way for Nepali original music to reach an international audience, and with this enthusiasm, Manzayashree is set to appear in a new musical project alongside a famous Bollywood celebrity. The new song will also be a joint presentation of Nepali and Bollywood music, according to singer Bhatta.

Released last year in Times Square, New York, USA, the song featured a unique blend of Nepali and Hindi music, incorporating the main part of the Nepali folk song ‘Jhyaain Paryo Malai Ratyauli Ko Jhilkele Jhyaain Paryo’ Performed by Manzayashree, who was born and raised in the United States, and popular Bollywood singer Dev Negi ‘Jhyaain’ brought Nepali and Indian music lovers together on a shared musical journey. This song helped introduce Manzayashree to audiences in India and Nepal. The song has surpassed 84.5 million views on YouTube and trended worldwide.

Addressing Nepali listeners and viewers, singer Manzayashree said, ‘The way ‘Jhyaain’ received love from Nepali and Indian audiences around the world, I believe my upcoming projects will also receive the same support and encouragement. I want to express a lot of love to all Nepali viewers.’ According to Bhatta, the upcoming project aims to elevate the fusion of Nepali and Bollywood music to new heights.

The ;Jhyaain’ music video was directed by experienced Bollywood cinematographer and director Vinod Pradhan, who has shot super hit Bollywood films like ‘Devdas’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’. Pradhan has also shot Nepali films like ‘Kusume Rumal’ and ‘Samjhana’. Director Pradhan said that working on this music video was a new and exciting experience as it was a fusion of Nepali and Hindi music. He said, ‘This is the first time I have worked on a fusion of Nepali and Hindi songs. Nepali audiences loved it very much.’

‘Jhyaain’ was filmed at the grand Imperial Palace in Mumbai. The sound engineering, mixing, and mastering of the song were done by Rahul Sharma, who has worked on films by famous Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dharma Productions. The choreography was done by Bosco Caesar, who has choreographed dances in films like ‘Pathaan’ and ‘War’.
