The Cinema Times

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – ‘Feri Resham Filili’, from the team behind the cult hit ‘Resham Filili’, is hyping the excitement with one after another release of its promotional content. While the audiences are eagerly waiting for the song ‘Feri Jaalma’ releasing on Thursday, the team recently released two new posters featuring the lead actors. The cinema aims to carry forward the entertainment legacy that made its predecessor a fan favorite.

In one poster, Vinay Shrestha, Supushpa Bhatta and Kameshwor Chaurasiya are featured where Vinay is seen panicking on the floor showing his passport as enraged Supushpa points the rifle at him. Kameshwor looks like he is begging for mercy. In the contrasting backdrop of Dharahara, Nepal and USA’s Statue of Liberty, the poster depicts the fascination towards the USA.

The second poster features the actors in different moods. Vinay, with passport in his hand, is jolly and so are Supushpa and Kameshwor. The poster includes Nir Shah, Shishir Bangdel, Rabindra Jha, Mahesh Tripathi, Meksam Goudel and Avon Raj Upreti.

From the released promotional material, it can be predicted that the cinema is humorous yet a heartfelt take on Nepali youths aspiring to leave the country in search of greener pastures. The cinema will resonate with millions of Nepali striving for a better life in foreign land.

A presentation of Cinema Art in collaboration with V Motion Pictures, the cinema is produced by Raunak Bikram Kandel. Written and directed by Niroj Maharjan, the crew comprises Susan Prajapati as DOP, Surendra Poudel as editor with Kali Prasad Baskota, SD Yogi, Hark Saud, Kalyan Singh, Jayan Waiba and Dipak Sharma as Music composers.
