The Cinema Times, Kathmandu- The much anticipated trailer of Nepali cinema ‘Khusma’ has dropped and is already generating amazing responses from cinema enthusiasts. The lead actors Upasana Singh Thakuri and Dhiraj Magar shine through their raw portrayal of emotions. ‘Khusma’ promises to be an emotionally driven cinema reflecting the complexities of love and strength of hope.
The trailer opens introducing the cinema’s protagonist Khusma played by Upasana and the dreamy flute sequence justifies Dhiraj Magar’s intro. It teases emotional tension, heartbreak and resilience, all wrapped in a cinematic tone that showcases the intricacies of love managing to evoke a deep sense of empathy. The local settings give the cinema a realistic, grounded feel.
Produced under the banner of M Media Pvt. Ltd. the cast also includes Maotse Gurung, Astitwa Bhattachan, Khadka Bahadur Pun, Sujata Rai, Raju Regmi, Raj Thapa Kaucha, Sangita Thapa Magar, Sara Rai, Bibesh Magar and Arun Magar. The cinema is produced by Bir Bahadur Lama, Chandra Bahadur Bhattachan, Betan Magar, Man Bahadur Magar and Sushmita Budhathoki.
