The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – ‘Devi’ is all set to hit the theatres on Bhadra 21 on the occasion of Teej. The released  title track of the cinema featuring actor Shilpa Maskey is heart-rending with soulful lyrics and music.

Penned by Swapnil Sharma, the song is composed and sung by Sharma himself in Rohit Shakya’s music production. Choreographed by Mingma D Lepcha, the audio visual of the song is splendid. The crew includes Bashistha Ghimire as cinematographer, Ujjwal Joshi as colorist, and Santosh Dawadi as editor.

Directed by Sanjog Rai, the crime thriller genre ‘Devi’ is presented by Exhibit Studio in association with Baasuri Films. The story is by the director Rai and Ajay Gautam.

The stellar ensemble cast includes Shilpa Maskey, Gaurav Pahari, Najir Husen, Tika Pahari, Prabhakar Neupane, Dhruba Koirala, Niriksha Ghatani, Bishal Pahari, Neeru Khadka, Jeevan Jung Khadka and Bikash Pant.

‘Devi’ is produced by Reman Gurung and Sanjog Rai with Javed Khan as executive producer. Shilpa Maskey, Ujen Norway Gurung, Narayan Gurung, and Milan Lama are co-producers. The other crew includes Joel Froome Acs as DOP, Sanjen Thapa in action. The cinema has director Rai and Ajay Gautam’s screenplay. ‘Devi’ is distributed by Manoj Rathi and Ujjwal Poudel.
