The cinema Times, Kathmandu- Slated to release on Asoj 3, Dhiraj Magar and Upasana Singh Thakuri starrer cinema ‘Khusma’ has released two promotional posters.
In one, the protagonists look enamored of eachother. Dhiraj has wrapped his arms around Upasana and they are looking far away, maybe someplace where their love can bloom in full swing. While in the other poster, Upasana is featured teary-eyed in low spirits. Both posters speak about the story plot and the characters. The poster credit goes to Royal Bhimsen.
Dhiraj and Upasana are sharing the screen for the first time in ‘Khusma’. The story is based on a love story during conflict.
The cinema is written and directed by Ashok Thapa Magar. He has studied cinema making in South Korea and has directed few short cinemas before. The director has been felicitated in nine different international cinema festivals.
Produced under the banner of M Media Pvt. Ltd. the cast also includes Maotse Gurung, Astitwa Bhattachan, Khadka Bahadur Pun, Sujata Rai, Raju Regmi, Raj Thapa Kaucha, Sangita Thapa Magar, Sara Rai, Bibesh Magar and Arun Magar.
The cinema is produced by Bir Bahadur Lama, Chandra Bahadur Bhattachan, Betan Magar, Man Bahadur Magar and Sushmita Budhathoki. The songs have SD Yogi and Chhanju Park (Korean) composition in Surendra Rana, Ashok Thapa Magar and Ram Abiral Bista’s lyrics. Dipak Bajracharya is the DOP.
The cinema will have a worldwide release on Asoj 3. Gobind Shahi’s Kafiya Films have the distribution rights.
