The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Wedding bells are ringing around the corner with actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheeer Iqbal’s wedding news. As per reports, the couple is going to tie the knot on June 23 in a low-key intimate function. Sona’s father says he would be dancing right in front of the wedding procession.

There is also news going around that Sona’s dad Shatrughan Sinha is unaware of his own daughter’s marriage. There were also speculations about Sona’s family being  not happy with her decision to marry Zaheer. Even Shatrughan Sinha answered the media that these days children don’t seek parents’ permission, they just inform, we are waiting to be informed.

But again, he also added, ‘We trust her judgement. She has the right to make her own decisions.We wish her happiness always. Having said that, whenever my daughter gets married, I would like to be dancing right in front of the baarat.’ As per close sources, both families have given their blessings to the couple. MP Shatrughan Sinha won the election from Asansol, West Bengal and this is like a double celebration.

Zaheer Iqbal comes from a family of entrepreneurs. His father is into jewellery and real estate business. His father is a close friend of Salman Khan. Both Zaheer and Sonakshi were launched by Salman’s production house. Sonakshi made her debut with Dabangg in 2010 and Zaheer’s first cinema is Notebook,2019. They were seen together in Double XL.

Salman Bhai plays a huge role in their professional and personal growth. Reportedly, Sonakshi and Zaheer crossed paths in a Salman Khan’s party. Their friendship hit off and romance bloomed. The couple had long maintained the ‘just friends’ status. But their insta pictures suggested more.

Now, they are all set to hard-launch their relationship, happening on June 23 at Bastian in Mumbai. The dress code is ‘festive and formals’.The wedding invite is designed like a magazine cover that says- the rumours are true.
