Mansarra’- appreciation continues, running successfully in second week

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Director Upendra Subba’s credible cinema ‘Mansarra’ continues to impress audiences and is running successfully in the second week.In the first week of its release, the cinema grossed 3.20 crores at box office. The cinema was also highly appreciated in the special show.

‘Mansarra’ team had organized a special show on Thursday. The show was graced by Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Rajendra Lingden, Nepali Women’s Football Team, Nepal Police senior officers, Singer/Actor Prakash Saput, Rejina Upreti, Loonibha Tuladhar, former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi and others.

Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party  Lingden appreciated the unique combination of genuine characters and cultural significance. He further said that the cinema depicts the lifestyle of a community with sincerity and director Upendra Subba’s story isn’t far from our cultural values which makes the cinema worth watching.

Singer/Actor Prakash Saput said that the cinema felt like reading a wonderful book. “It was smooth, heartfelt, soothing to watch and the performances so real.”

Written by the director himself, ‘Mansarra’ features Miruna Magar, Dayahang Rai, Praveen Khatiwada, Menuka Pradhan and Hemanta Budhathoki in pivotal roles.

The cinema is produced by cinematographer Shailendra Dhoj Karki and co-produced by Parsu Adhikari, Bishnu Kumar Thebe and Jiban Limbu Thaklung. Other crews of the cinema include Nimesh Shrestha as Editor, Manhang Lawati, Manik Shankar, Shayok Mukarung and Shubham Chamling Rai as Art Director. The executive producer of the cinema is Sijan Dahal and Kiran Rai is the chief assistant director. Apple Entertainment has the distribution rights and G21 Digital is the digital partner.

Released on Baisakh 21, ‘Mansarra’ is running successfully in the second week.
