The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The hit franchise Hostel is now set to come up with its third installment. ‘Hostel 3’ is announced and very soon the casts and crews will be revealed.

‘Hostel’ became the youth centric cinema that helped lure teenagers to theatres. It was refreshing and youths did relate to it. Not to mention, ‘Hostel’ was the career accelerator for Anmol KC, Salon Basnet, Gaurav Pahari, Prakriti Shrestha and Rista Basnet. All these names have now already made a niche for themselves. Then came ‘Hostel Returns’. This cinema also introduced some actors who are actually running the cine industry currently. Actors like Swastima Khadka, Najir Husen, Sushil Shrestha, Sushil Sitaula emerged through this cinema.

Now, the production rights have been passed to Samman Entertainment which is all set to add onto the refreshment with ‘Hostel 3’. This cinema will also introduce some new actors to the cinema field. Sashan Kandel will make his debut as a director from this cinema. He has already made a name in music video production and direction.

The cinema is produced by Shishir Gyawali, co-produced by Suresh Kandel, Sudha Marahatta and Arjun Sapkota. Shankar Koirala acts as the executive producer. The story is written by the director himself and the screenplay is by Madhab Sharma. Sharma says, it took them more than a year to finalize the script.

The plot of ‘Hostel 3’ revolves around the life of teen students living in a hostel. Their fun, struggles, problems will be presented in the cinema. The cinema targets this year’s release.
