‘Pujar Sarki’ slated to release on Jestha 10

The Cinema Times

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The team of upcoming cinema ‘Pujar Sarki’ has announced its release date while also publicizing two posters of the cinema featuring the three lead actors. The cinema will have a worldwide release on Jestha 10.

The posters feature the leads Aaryan Sigdel, Pradip Khadka and Paul Shah in character looks. They are portrayed as friends. In one poster, all three are seen having a good laugh; but, while actors Aaryan and Paul are sitting on a stone fence, Pradip is seen sitting below them. Is this a sign of the caste discrimination where the lower castes are made to and also are habituated to take a place beneath the so-called upper castes! The cinema is based on caste discrimination.

Director Dinesh Raut says the release date has been fixed as advised by the producers and distributors. On the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, the cinema will be released on Thursday, Jestha 10, 2081. He also informs that the cinema will have a worldwide release on the same date.

Produced under the banner of Kingdom Network, ‘Pujar Sarki’ is written by Bikash Subedi. Actors Anjana Baraili, Parikshya Limbu, Mohan Niraula, Lokendra Lekhak, Suwash Gajurel, Prem Subba, Bidhya Karki, Tara Sharma, Shankar Acharya, Govind Raman Parajuli, Rajesh Bisural and others are also featured in the cinema. In producer Subash Bhushal’s music, the songs are penned by Hark Saud, B. Pandey, Dinesh Raut and Ganesh Shahi. The crew includes Rajesh Shrestha as DOP, Himal KC in action, Suprim Parajuli as editor and Shailendra Shrestha in background score.

Seems like this multistarrer will have a theatrical clash as on the same date Anmol KC’s ‘Farki Farki’ and Pooja Sharma’s ‘Daanvi’ have already announced their release.
