The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – ‘Mahajatra’ is on the verge of breaking all records. Pradip Bhattarai directed cinema has grossed over 10 crores in two weeks of its release. ‘Mahajatra’ has entered the third week of release with glory.

The team released a poster mentioning 10.14 crores as its gross collection in two weeks. Released on Chaitra 9, the cinema made an earning of 6 crores 24 lakhs in the first week and 3 crores 90 lakhs in the second week. ‘Mahajatra’ has entered the third week of release with glory as it still has got audiences thronging in the theatres with some housefull shows. It is the audiences’ demand that the cinema has still got good shows in multiplexes.

Director Bhattarai has thanked the audiences for the appreciation. Expressing his gratitude via social media, he writes- You(audiences) have opened the door for my next cinema making. I promise to repay your love and admiration with another good cinema.

Written and directed by Pradip Bhattarai, ‘Mahajatra’ features Bipin Karki, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Rabindra Jha, Hari Bansha Acharya, Barsha Raut, Arjun Jung Shahi, Prakash Ghimire, Raja Ram Poudel, Prabin Khatiwada, Divya Dev, Suman Karki, Shishir Bangdel, Gaumaya Gurung, Arvin Khadka in pivotal roles.
