The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – Actors Samragyee Rajya Laxmi Shah and Dhiraj Magar’s second venture ‘Rumani Rang’s distribution rights is obtained by Kafiya Films and Kunwar Cine Films Pvt. Ltd. The written agreement has been signed between the cinema and the distribution company on Saturday.
As per the agreement, Gobinda Shahi’s Kafiya Films have the distribution rights for the valley and Kunwar Cine Films Pvt. Ltd holds the rights for outside the valley.
Produced under the banner of Global Media and Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. in association with Aabishkar Bahu Sanchar Pvt. Ltd. ‘Rumani Rang’ is presented by GM Thakuri and Hari Malla is the executive producer.
The team had earlier worked together in action thriller ‘Lakhe’. Sushil Thapa, Shreejan Basnet, Santosh Saru and Bijay Adhikari are co-producers. Australia’s Dboyz Entertainment act as line producer. The company had previously distributed Damaruko Dandibiyo, Nepte, Captain, Ae Mero Hajur and other cinemas in Australia.
Around 90% shooting will take place in Australia and remaining 10% in Nepal. The cinema will portray modern love story. As per the makers, ‘Rumani Rang’ presents the pink and blue side of love and also struggles of abroad based students.
In Anil Yonjan’s captainship actors Samragyee RL Shah and Dhiraj Magar will share the screen for the second time. Actors Samragyee RL Shah and Dhiraj Magar were first featured together in ‘Intu Mintu London Ma’.
Their chemistry was well appreciated by the audiences. The cinema will have director Yonjan’s story, dialog and screenplay. He had previously directed ‘Diarry’.
