The Cinema Times,Kathmandu – The Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya was a grand event attended by who’s who. Actor Alia Bhatt attended the inauguration in a custom turquoise blue Mysore silk saree which had important scenes from Ramayan intricately handpainted on the Pallu by Madhurya creations.

Alia Bhatt appears to be in love with sarees. She is seen draped in ethnic picks leaving fashionistas spellbound. For the grand consecration ceremony, her saree sure caught attention. As captioned by her stylist Ami Patel, the saree was adorned with intricate hand paintings of important scenes from the Ramayana.

The breaking of the Shiva Dhanush, King Dasharath’s promise, in the boat with Guha, the golden deer, the kidnapping, the Ram Setu, Lord Hanuman presenting the ring to Ma Sita and the Rama Pattabishek. These miniature paintings were done in a traditional “Pattachitra” style and took a 100 hours to complete on time for the momentous occasion.

Meanwhile, on the work front her next with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is announced. The epic saga titled ‘Love & War’ also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal slated to release on Christmas 2025.
