The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Nepali cinema ‘Khushma’ is officially announced. The love story based cinema will have actors Dhiraj Magar and Upasana Singh Thakuri in main lead.

The cinena was announced with a Shubha Muhurat puja at Kamaladi Ganeshthan temple. The cinema and main leads were announced in the event. Dhiraj and Upasana will share screen for the first time in ‘Khushma’. The story is based on a love story during conflict.

The cinema will be directed by Ashok Thapa Magar. He has studied cinema making in South Korea and has directed few short cinemas before. The director has been felicitated in nine different international cinema festivals.

Produced under the banner of  M Media Pvt. Ltd. the cast also includes Astitwa Bhattachan, Khadka Bahadur Pun and Arun Magar. ‘Khushma’ will be shot in two shooting schedules. Betane Magar, Chandra Bhattachan, Mohan Rai and Sushmita Budhathoki are the producers.

The cinema will have SD Yogi’s composition in Surendra Rana and Ram Abiral Bista’s songs. Dipak Bajracharya is assigned as the DOP.
