The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – The protagonist line up of cinema Rimai has completed. Actor Saugat Malla is the latest addition in the team.

Actors Dayahang Rai and Rishma Gurung have already been finalized for ‘Rimai’. Actor Rishma Gurung played the iconic character ‘Maiya’ in ‘Kabaddi’. Dayahang Rai and Rishma Gurung’s pair was much loved by the audiences.

The trio- Rai, Gurung and Malla had shared the silver screen in the blockbuster cinema ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’. Their chemistry had been widely appreciated. Now, these three are expected to fire up the screen once again in ‘Rimai’.

Produced under the banner of Gorakh Siranchowk and Ligligkot Films Pvt. Ltd. ‘Rimai’ will be directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung. The cinema will also feature Birbal Ghale in pivotal role. The story is co written by director Gurung and actor Birbal Ghale and the screenplay is by Upendra Subba. Tika Gurung (UK), Prakash Gurung (UK), Jeet Yatri Gurung (Norway), Birbal Ghale and Sachi Kumari Ghale are the executive producers of the cinema co produced by Dun Bahadur Ghale, Hem Gurung and Bijay Lama.

The team plans to go on floor in Falgun. As per the producers, the pre production is still on and more details will follow in time.
